Aunts Day and Thanksgiving

Hello folks,

Just a few pictures for y'all. The first four were taken about two weeks ago. I had my mother and a group of my aunts over for brunch, along with my good friend, Rhonda. Have mercy! You should've been there--I can't begin to explain how funny they were. Let's just say they are "hot mamas!" Maybe one day I'll tell y'all more. *grin* And of course, when I went for the camera-- they went for the "color", (a.k.a. lipstick). They wouldn't be caught dead without it.

The second two pics are from Thanksgiving. I enjoyed having my family together, at least most of my family. It was sad not to have my middle sister, Rhonda, and her youngest two, Bradley and Blair. (Blair's basketball schedule wouldn't permit the trip. She's a great player, so I guess I'll forgive her coach. *grin*) Still, we had her son Blake. And we missed her husband, our John Parker. He's serving in Iraq. Our holiday also served as a "going away" for Cyndie's son, Rusty. He'll be leaving today for Fort Smith and from there to a three year tour overseas with the Army. Take care, Rus--we love you and we'll keep the home fires burning...

Hugs,
Shellie

The day was so gorgeous we had to have our coffee outside by the lake. Left to right: Pat Adkerson, Elaine Boyette, Judy Patrick, Peggy Duncan, Carmen Stone, my friend Rhonda Perry, and that's my beautiful Mama in the very front...

Here's the gang with the lake in the background...

Up close and personal shot indoors...

Look how pretty Lake Providence was that day...

I enjoy sharing my family with y'all. When I talk about 'em in the emag, you'll have a visual. Although, I might say, they're getting sort of nervous around me. *grin* Take care, now! Hugs,
Shellie
