Super Mondays

Hi Folks, here's an idea of what my Mondays are like trying to get the radio show out and the web updated...By the time I "see" y'all on the porch Tuesday morning I am more than ready for a break.

Hugs,
Shellie

First order of business. I drive the hour and a half to Monroe to tape with Mike Terry of K104.

Mike's a well-known voice over talent and he does a great job of producing my show. I really appreciate him. Now, hereeeeeeeeeeeeeeees Mike!

My next stop is at KNOE TV for a visit on their AM radio station. Here's me and their extra nice receptionist, Mrs. Meg.

It's now 1:30 or so and I'm joining Randy Prewitt and his sweet assistant, Bree, in the AM 540 radio booth for "Mid-day with Randy Prewitt". What do we talk about? Oh, mercy, anything and everything southern, which isn't hard for any of us. *grin* Here's a shot of me, Bree, and Randy chatting it up.

Smile Bree! Oh, yeah, Bree also does the morning show on FM 102!

If you're anywhere in the ARK-LA-MISS, you'll recognize Randy as the host of KNOE TV's Good Morning ARK-LA-MISS! Randy seems like a real good guy on TV, right? Well, guess what? In this case, what you see is what you get!

Yeah, they're busy, but I made 'em stop and smile for y'all.

Isn't it nice when co-workers get along? *grin*

Oh, and it was my friend Rhonda, and not me who suggested that Ken Booth, a busy investigative reporter from KNOE stop for a photo opp in the hall. I don't think Ken had it on his schedule, but he was nice about it all. *grin* )

A parting shot of the studio. It's back to the vehicle for the drive home--just in time to start supper, a load of clothes and begin updating the web.

And here I am...Diet Coke and candy bar at hand. ~smile~ See y'all tomorrow morning on the porch.

Hugs,
Shellie
