Trick or Treat Trouble

Hello folks,

I got in trouble the other evening and this is my agreed upon penance. You see, a trailor load of trick-or-treaters came by our place and we had nothing to offer them! I know... I'd been out of town all day on business and despite husband Phil's reminder's to pick up candy for the little folks--I forgot!

Phil's first response was to hit all the lights and act like we weren't home. (This with them parked on the road in front of our house and walking down our neighbor's drive--real sneaky, huh?)

Since I was the one that forgot the candy, I was also the lucky one that got to go outside and represent the family with an official Tomlinson apology. Well, all the parents were very gracious, (of course-- this IS the south), and even the kids forgave me and posed for some pictures. The deal was that if I publicly apologized and put their pictures on the web--all would be well. (Oh, and something about TWICE as much candy next year!) So, here they are! I wouldn't dream of trying to name everyone. I'd surely get someone's name wrong and be pushed back even further into the doghouse. You'll have to cut me some slack there.

Hugs,
A Properly Repentant Shellie
