Absolutely! I enjoy it, too. I may not always get back to you the very same day you write in, but I do my best to respond as promptly as possible, usually within a twenty-four hour period.

I've always loved to write and tell stories. In 2001, after trying unsuccessfully to interest a publisher in a little book I'd written called, "Lessons Learned on Bull Run Road", I decided to self-publish it. That's the short version, of course, but it is the beginning. The website was birthed to market the book, and the radio, TV, and speaking gigs came out of the website.

If I could, I would. My strongest advice for anyone who wants to write is to just do it! Write a lot and read a lot and learn everything you can about writing. I once heard someone say that almost everyone says they want to write a book but most people mean that they want to have written a book. That makes tons of sense to me. It's work, but if you love it, you have to do it. I can't begin to tell you how to attract a traditonal publisher's attention because my opportunity to work with Penguin Group, USA came after I had established my own platform. This is a hard question for me. The short answer is I would love to-- but I can't. The long answer is that I have had to adopt this policy because I'm getting flooded with books and there is only one me, (okay, besides the voices in my head, but they don't count.) This is NOT, and I mean NOT because I don't believe there are many wonderful self-published authors out there. Remember, I was in that number for a long time. I "get" you. It's just a time constraint, friends. I can't seem to find but twenty-four hours in a day.

Well, you can scroll down the three pages of recipe archives, or, if you were actually thinking of cooking it sometime this calendar year you can put a couple key words from what you remember in my search boxand cross your fingers. If I knew why it didn't work every time I'd fix it. *grin*
