Hi Folks,
I'm excited about sharing with you the day-to-day workings of
our agricultural farm. Ours is a third generation family
operation in the northeast corner of Louisiana called "Larche
Farms." We grow rice, wheat, soybeans and corn. I took this picture of the shed
from the top of the grain bins you saw on the home page! (Mercy, it was high! The things I do for y'all. ~smile~)
Right now the farm is in full swing and the guys are working
sunup to sundown. There just doesn't seem to be enough time in
the day. I can't tell you how happy they were to stop and smile
for the camera. But, they finally realized I wasn't
going away until they did. ~smile~ Here they are...

That's Walter Phillip Tomlinson on the right, (better known as Buzzy, or
GrandBuzzy to his grandkids), then there's Walter Phillip Tomlinson
Jr. on the left, (that's my husband--we call him Phil), and last, sitting
there on the tractor, is Walter Phillip Tomlinson III, (our son, Phillip).
If you've just wandered by All Things Southern, please be patient.
This is a brand new feature. I'm still working the kinks out. Stick around, there's more to come. I hope you'll
bookmark my site and enjoy the farming season with ATS. (Or better yet, subscribe
to my FREE weekly emag while you're here. That way, you can't forget
about us. ~smile~)
Hugs,
Shellie
