July 9, 2004 Louisiana Association of Chiefs of Police (The Ladies Program)

Hello folks,

Last Friday I had the pleasure of speaking to the wives of the Louisiana Association of Chiefs of Police. The police chiefs were at all work, attending the conference in Monroe but the ladies--we had a blast, didn't we girls? ~smile~

We were blessed to enjoy a beautfiul day at the Poverty Point Marina in Delhi, LA. (Okay, okay...it was hot but we did have a shop fan and we were treated to a fish-fry afterwards! YUM!) I hope y'all enjoy the photo journal.

Hugs,
Shellie

P.S. Visit the Poverty Point Reservoir State Park!

This sweet lady with me is Marilyn Reynolds. She was responsible for my invitation to speak. Thanks, Marilyn! I had a great time.

Here I am with a nice guy named Larry Taylor. He runs the Poverty Point Reservoir State Park but he took time out to greet his guests.

Ah...now I'm getting to do one of my favorite things--talk. *grin*

Here's just a few of my new friends from the event gathered around for a party pic! Thanks for receiving me so graciously, ladies. I enjoyed it.

Hugs,
Shellie
